He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Annette Jones. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones of Union; his children, Matthew Jones of Union and Holly Eubanks (Bryan) of Clinton; his sisters, Pam Maloney (Ron) and Linda Hawkins (Bubba); and his father Leonard Jones, Sr. of Meridian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
