He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hamil and Ruth Bailey Hamil; and his son-in-law Ray Greenwood. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Harrison Hamil of Union; his daughters, Lisa Greenwood of Philadelphia and Libby Nance (Judd) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Nathan Nance (Maggie), Shelby Greenwood, Chloe Sullivan (Jonathan), Daylon Nance and Carly Greenwood; and his brother Jack Bailey Hamil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
