He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Allen Skinner; and also Billie Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Merle" Skinner of Union; his sons, James A. Skinner of Byram, MS and Jessie Jones (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jared Skinner, Corey Jones (Autum), Haley Barrett, Courtney Jones, Taylor Jones and Jamie Jones; his great grandchildren, Hope Roberts, Addison and Emma Barrett; his great great grandchildren, Lilly Skinner, Jillian Roberts and JJ Roberts; and his nephews, Marzine Chisolm and James Brown.
