He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Taylor and Mozel Dunnam Taylor; his former wife Bonnie Thornton Taylor; his son Clifton Timothy Taylor; his siblings, Billy Taylor, Tommy Taylor, Roger Dale Taylor, Phillis Elaine Taylor and Barbara Taylor Hamblin; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Lyons and Cora Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Pansy Lessel Taylor of New Albany; his daughter Lisa Taylor Maharrey (Curtis) of Okolona; his stepdaughter Sandra Boland (David) of Blue Springs; his daughter-in-law Beth Owen Taylor of New Albany; his sister Peggy Taylor Lyons; his sister-in-law Margaret Young Taylor; his half-sister Ceretha Taylor of New Albany; his brother John Q. Taylor (Lea) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Haley Taylor Williams (Austin) of Vardaman, MS, Collin Taylor (Cassie) of New Albany, Taylor Reed Maharrey of Okolona, Robert Alan Maharrey of Okolona, Chris Boland (Natlie) and Alex Boland (Emily) of Blue Springs; and his close friend Sam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
