She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Dean; her sons, Richard Leon Dean and Steve Dean; her siblings, Ray Keene, Tommy Keene, James Keene and Lorene Keene Furby; her daughter-in-law Vickie Dean (Leonard); and her close friend Bill James.

She is survived by: her nephews, Gary Paul Keene, Tony Furby and Tommy "Scooter" Furby; her great-nephew Justin Eiland; and her sister Beverly Keene Jones.
