We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 91, Amie Lou Goforth of Union, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmo Goforth; her siblings, Addie Henson, Maggie Heblon and Charlie R. Langdon; and her parents, Bert Langdon and Myrtle Smith Langdon.
She is survived by: her son J. V. Goforth (Linda); her sisters, Willie Mae Lundy, Maxine McKeithen and Shirley Cliburn; her grandchildren, Brad Goforth (Shelly) and Brandy Hitt (Kiah); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Goforth, Owen Hitt and Emma Goforth.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Spring Creek Baptist Church (12901 Rd 614, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
