He is survived by: his sons, Andy Swords (Vicky) and Marty Swords (Lisa); his siblings, June Harkness, Becky Swords, Rickie Swords (Pat) and Charlie Swords (Margaret); his grandchildren, Austin Swords, Treasure Basden (Ben), Alexandria "Ale" Works (Nate) and Collin Swords (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Jobe Basden, Dezi Basden, Andi Basden, Greyson Swords, Lexi Works and Lyric Works; and his brother-in-law Leighton Harkness.
