He was predeceased by: his father Paul Kelly Potts; his brothers, Eddie Medlin, Jimmy Dale Medlin and Stevie Potts; and his sister-in-law Tina Louise Potts.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Chism Smith of New Albany; his children, Danielle Potts Davidson (Dakoda) of College Station, TX and Paul Kevin Potts of New Albany; and his siblings, Carol Rodgers of New Albany, Betty Ann Potts of New Albany, Brenda Richey (David) of New Albany, Debbie Farr, Paula Wintermote and Don Medlin of Holly Springs. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of New Albany Funeral Service Email. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
