With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Larry Lesley of Union County, Mississippi, born in New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman McCurry Lesley, Sr. and Jessie Rachel Little Lesley; his stepmother Ella Earl Duke Lesley; and his brother John David Lesley. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Cousar Lesley; his brother Herman Lesley, Jr. of New Albany; his sons, Brian Lesley (Emily) of Starkville, Ben Lesley and Matt Lesley of Tupelo; and his grandchildren, Beckett, John Scott, Cathryn, Dottie, Cam, Grace of Starkville, Gina Grace of New Albany and Tessa Kate of Tupelo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
