He is survived by: his wife Rosemary McDaniel; his children, Connie Johnston (Kirk) and Brian McDaniel; his grandsons, Brandon Boyd and William Johnston; his great grandchildren, Remington Boyd and Madelynn Johnston; his siblings, Mary "Tip" Freeman, Ricky McDaniel (Jill), Scotty McDaniel and Sharon Copeland; and his sisters-in-law, Beckie McDaniel and Linette Taylor.
