We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 85, Walter Karel Pigott of Tylertown, Mississippi, born in Walthall, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Joseph Pigott and Margaret Jane Culpepper Pigott; his brother Aubrey Pigott; and his mother-in-law Peggy McKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Reatha McKenzie Pigott; his children, Brad Pigott (Angie), Stuart Pigott and Lynn Wooten (Ronnie); his stepsons, Jeremy McKenzie (Amy) and Jason McKenzie (Jerrie); his grandchildren, Regan Gagliardi, Adam Gagliardi, Chandler Willis (Ryan) and Bryce Gagliardi (Shelli Guidry); his stepgrandchildren, Bridgett Philbar (Michael), Amber McKenzie, Drew McKenzie, Taylor Henderson and Jacob Wooten; his great grandchildren, Audrey Willis and Harper Willis; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nola and Michael Philbar; his siblings, Tommy Pigott (Pam) and Linda Faye Marshall (Keith); and his father-in-law Winfred McKenzie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (327 MS-27, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Union Church Cemetery.
