He was predeceased by: his parents, Culley Pounds and Bertha Pounds; his son Heath Pounds; and his brother Lamar Pounds. He is survived by: his daughter Katrina Kemp (James) of Foxworth; his grandchildren, Sydney Kemp and Nathan Kemp; and his brothers, Kenny Pounds of Foxworth, Mike Pounds of Foxworth and Darrell Pounds of Foxworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
