He is survived by: his wife Mary Rushing; his son Jamie Rushing (Dawn Stinson); his grandchildren, Alexis Rushing, Gabrielle Kirkland, Ford Kirkland and Katelyn Kirkland; and his sisters, Joan Rushing Stewart and Janet Rushing Cook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
