She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Brumfield and Elisha Brumfield; and her husband Harlen Fortenberry. She is survived by: her children, Larry Fortenberry, Sherylon Hill and Charlotte Jackson; and her siblings, Lucile Boyd, Alyne May and George Brumfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
