With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle S. Duncan of Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Roena Seals; her daughter Janet Ritchie; her grandson Danny P Brown, Jr. (Casey Lang); and her siblings, Willie Faye Seals, Danny Seals, Diane Stewart, Jeannie Ard and Cleo Seals.
She is survived by: her husband Danny P Brown, Sr.; her grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Brown (Stacey Rayborn), Shaun Lang, Jay Lang and Ariel Mitchell; her nephew Terry Penton (Penny); her niece Amy Kearney (Darren); and her siblings-in-law, Aubrey Stewart, Ottis Brown, Jane Seals, Lurlene Payne (Joe Irby) and Peggy Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home (412 Beulah Ave, Tylertown, MS 39667). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Gerald Cemetery (29276 LA-1070, Franklinton, LA 70438).
