He was predeceased by: his mother Vera McDaniel Smith. He is survived by: his father Harold Alex Elbert Smith; his daughters, Deborah Roberts, Holly Rachel (David) of McComb, Hope Smith of Pricedale and Hanna Smith of McComb; his stepdaughter Heather Jetton (Brad) of Oxford, Mississippi; his sisters, Gloria Worrell (Bruce) of Baton Rouge and Darlene Dunn (Dennis) of Saraland, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Link Rachel, Ezio Rachel, Taylor Jetton and Hunter Kate Jetton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Memorial Fund or McComb Library.
