She was predeceased by: her child Berlon Sanford; her former husband Porter Skinner; her children, Deloris Sue, David Sue and Carol Sue; her grandson Lynn Beard; her siblings, Leroy Rushing, Ford Rushing, Gene Rushing, Roger Rushing, Mary Magiline and Mavis White; and her stepson Phillip Skinner.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Sanford (Janice) and Shirley Alexander (Grady); her sisters, Polly Boyd (Buel), Juanita Holmes and Sarah McElveen; and her grandchildren, Earnie Beard (Anita), Tricia Thompson (Guy), Scott Beard (Misty), Laurie Williams (Jim), Gwen Lombardi (Chris), Holly Edens (Richie) and Yancey Sanford. She is also survived by great-grandchildren plus three in-laws; three great-great-grandchildren with another to arrive soon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
