He was predeceased by: his parents, Tamer and Dixon, Sr.; and his siblings, Alice Robinson, Dixon, Jr., Claude Dixon and Jerry Dixon.
He is survived by: his children, Liz Dixon, Ann Vaughn (Hank), Larry "Winky" Dixon (Myra), Bruce Dixon, Forrest Dixon and Jamie Dixon; his sisters, Joyce O'Quin, Debbie Crain (David), Edgie Singley (David) and Rose Hicks (Steve); and his grandchildren, David Dixon, Robert Dixon, Austin Dixon, Bentley Dixon, Lincoln Dixon, Nova Dixon, Jessica Vaughn, Lacey Vaughn and Hunter Vaughn. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (323 2nd St, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
