She was predeceased by: her parents, Lessie Rushing and Herman Rushing; her husband Luther Rudolph Odom Sr.; her son Blane Odom; and her siblings, Sarah Rushing Ware Sager, Herman J. Rushing Jr., Rufus Ralph Rushing, Paul Rushing, Roy Smith Rushing, James L. Rushing, William "Bill" Rushing, Jerry E. Rushing Sr. and Willie Elisha Rushing.
She is survived by: her children, Pell Wheless (Ron) and Luther Rudolph "Rudy" Odom Jr. (Cecelia); her grandchildren, Luther S. Wheless, Ashley Rabalais (Blaine), Ronnie S Wheless Jr. (Susan), Luther Rudolph Odom III, Gregory Blane Wheless (Cassie), John Walter Wheless (Kaffy), Rebecca Lynn Spencer and Chantel Marie Stevens (Rob); her great grandchildren, Phoenix Joyce Wheless, Ava Toni Wheless, Gregory Blane Wheless Jr., Tyce Anthony Rabalais, Ainsley Claire Rabalais and Luther Rudolph Odom IV; and her siblings, Lessie Rawls, Beth Morrow, Maureen Spence and Donald Rushing. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
