It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Dale Davis of Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lampton M. and Ruth Thomas Davis Sr.; and his siblings, Shirley Thomas (James), Doris Fortenberry (Willis), Lampton M. Davis Jr. and Everett Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Mecie Lanier Blackwell Davis; his children, Steve Davis (Kim) of Baton Rouge, LA, Ricky Davis (Beth) of Central, LA and Patricia Cason (Kevin) of Denham Springs, LA; his grandchildren, Bryce Cason, Michael Davis, Megan Davis and Michalyn Lavergne (Dakota); his great grandchildren, Averie and Addison; his sister Dennie Wisneski (Arthur); and his sisters-in-law, Margie Davis and Janice Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
