She was predeceased by: her husband James E Mize; her daughter Belinda Mize Dyar; her parents, Byron E. Patten and Ovie O. Fortenberry Patten; and her siblings, Wesley Patten, Wilson Patten, B. E. Patten, Jr., Wilder P. Magee, Lila P. Goodwin and Iris P. Griffin.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Laura Lee; her sister Charlene P. Stringer; her son-in-law Scott Reed Dyar; her grandchildren, Justin Reed Dyar (Kaleigh), Clayton James Dyar (Taylor) and Laura Lee Dyar Wand (Curtis); and her great grandchildren, Hadlee Claire Wand, James Elliott Dyar, Jack Reed Dyar, John Walker Dyar and Ellis Brooke Dyar. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
