With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Marie Gill (Tylertown, Mississippi), who passed away on March 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Quincy David "Q. D.". She is survived by: her son-in-law Gordon Stuckey; her children, Nelda Hux Davis Stuckey (Gordon) of Magee, MS, Lenita Hux Brown (Elbert) of Columbia, MS, Quinton Jewel Hux of Tylertown, MS and Brenda Hux Neal Bryant (James) of Taylorsville, MS; the father of her children Wilbur Nello Hux of Bogalusa, LA; her granddaughter Rena Brown Boyd; her niece Lillie Hill Todora; and also, Robert Lloyd Stuckey and Dewayne Allen Davis. She is also survived by forty-eight great-grandchildren, and fifty-nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Mesa Baptist Church.
