She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Morris, Sr. and Ophelia Ethridge Morris; her children, Tommy Mitchell and Tracy Mitchell; her brother Jerry Morris; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Mitchell, James Mitchell, Freddie Polk and Doris Duncan.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Mitchell; her children, Terry Mitchell (Sonya), Toney Mitchell and Tammy Rials (Vincent, Sr.); and her siblings, Otis Morris (Karen), Eugene Morris (Karen), Larry Morris (Linda), Jake Morris (Patti), Mary Polk, Ann Thornhill (Ronnie) and Annette Lee. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.
