He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Summers Ryals; his children, Darrell Ryals, Allen Ryals (Michele), William VanNorman, Raymond VanNorman (Michelle), Deborah Ryals VanNorman, Marsha Hodges (Johnny), Maria Prine and Beth Cowart (Jim); his sisters, Dora Ryals Brumfield and Lavelle Tenie Ryals Wallace; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Ryals. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
