He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Surber and Jimmie Inez Surber; his siblings, Raymond Surber and Ruby Clayton; and his daughter Janice Lynn Surber.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sue Balch Surber; and his children, Alan Surber (Amy), Pamela Ann Surber and Victoria Leigh Kile (Ken). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lexie Baptist Church on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time there at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude.
