She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Brumfield and Olles Blackwell Brumfield; her husbands, Wade Thornton and Tylertown; her siblings, Maudean Holmes (Dean), Basil Brumfield and Charles Brumfield; and her nephew Charles Willis Brumfield.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Vic, Richard Holmes, Gwen Langhart (Michael), Dr. Cindy Hester (John), Penny Brumfield, Pam Brumfield Case and Jo Holmes. She is also survived by 5 Great nephews; 4 Great-nieces; and 3 Great-great nephews.
