He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Nelson Payne and Leila Bennett Payne; his children, John Payne, Donald Wesley Payne and Janet Elizabeth Payne; and his siblings, Peggy Anne Bealer, Mary Helen Payne, Jim Payne, Lewis Payne, Ralph Payne, Roger Earl Payne and Wayne Dwayne Payne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elsie, Sutton, Jessie Nelson Payne, Jr., Percy Albert Payne, Catherine Louise Peneguy, Mildred Sue Guillory, Charles Lawrence Payne, Carolyn Diane Patton and Barbara Delnero; and his girlfriend Ruth Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
