With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Boyd Myers of Tylertown, Mississippi, born in Jayess, Mississippi, who passed away on July 8, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney McEwen and Winnie Bullock McEwen; her former husband J. P. Boyd; her husband Emory "Bill" Myers; her siblings, Glenda Wilson and Aubrey McEwen; her brothers-in-law, Gary Wilson and Don Barlow; and her great grandchild Sami Hedden.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Boyd (Julia) of Tylertown and Jerry Boyd (DeeDee) of Tylertown; her siblings, Harold McEwen (Beverly) of McCall Creek, Jimmy McEwen (Nannette) of Jayess, Mary Barlow of Braxton and Sue Langston (Nolan) of Baton Rouge; her great grandchildren, Caden, Kynlee Boyd, Caroline, JoJo, Audrey Hedden and Baylor Boyd; and also, Brian Myers (Jan) of Metairie, LA, Dwayne Myers (Lane) of Sardis, MS, Loretta Tesvich (Kuzma) of Belle Chasse, LA and Charlotte Myers of Gretna, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baptist Children's Village/ The Dickerson Place.
