It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Edwin Holmes of Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie E Holmes and Fannie B Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy H. Holmes; his son William Holmes (Sheila); his grandchildren, Allyson E Holmes, Jennifer Williamson (John), Aaron Skeen (Garrett) and Jace Conerly; and his great grandchildren, Connor Holmes Alleman, Maeve Harper Alleman, Brenna Williamson and Rilynn Skeen.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Capps Funeral Home (270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS 39667).
