She was predeceased by: her parents, Wardell Roosevelt and Lovice Pearl Cox; her husband Thomas R Rester, Sr.; her grandsons, Edward Wayne Rester, Jr. and Dylan Chimento; her great grandchild Dalton Ray Ferrill; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Rester.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Wayne Rester, Sr., Thomas Rester, Jr. (Lola), Robbie Rester, Sr. (Joann), Linda Ferrill (Jack) and Bobbie Thibodeaux (Clinton); and her siblings, James Cox and Marie Morgan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Capps Funeral Home (270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Foxworth Cemetery.
