He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaudry Eugene Griffin and Edith Walton Griffin of Tupelo, MS.; his in-laws, Peanut and Betty Carnathan; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Carnathan and Ed Hendrix; and his close friend Tinkerbell.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Carnathan Griffin; his children, Laura Criddle (Jon) of Guntown, MS, Andrew Griffin (Kadie) of Randolph, MS, Christina Spencer (Scot Trifilo) of Saratoga Spring, NY and Kimberly Romero of Olive Branch, MS.; his grandchildren, Jake, Haley, Jon David, Ryan, Mac and Evelyn; his siblings, Garry Griffin (Ann) of Blue Mountain, MS, Pat Cross (Don) of Brandon, MS and Debrah Pender (Rodger) of Mooreville, MS; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Hendrix, Bonnie Wilson and Ellie Sheffield (Woody). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
