Richard Lee Maenpaa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Maenpaa of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. John Maenpaa and Margaret Maenpaa; and his wife Joyce Palagyi. He is survived by: his children, Tim (Margarita) of Grayson, Georgia and Lori Culp (Rick) of Tupelo, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Stephen Maenpaa of Statesboro, Michael Maenpaa (Michelle) of Alpharetta, Richmond Culp of Fort Klamath, Ryan Culp (Clara) of Birmingham and Hannah Ruth Culp of Tupelo, Mississippi; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Maenpaa, Rose Culp, Bryce Maenpaa and Etta Joy Culp.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (1911 N Gloster St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Center Cemetery (294 Main St, Conneaut, OH 44030).
