It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raven Seymone Hogan (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her cousin Santonio Carruthers; her grandfather Charlie Hogan Jr.; and her uncle Donny Pinson. She is survived by: her parents, Felicia Carruthers of Tupelo, MS and Clifton Hogan of Wren, MS.; her siblings, La'Niya Carruthers, Jakiya Metcalf of Tupelo, MS, Monterious Carruthers and Amari Hogan of Verona, MS; her grandparents, Cassie Turner (Charles), Janice Hogan and Danny Pinson (Lawanda); her great-grandparents, Lucille Ivy (Earnest) and Ethel Jones (James); and her godparents, Johnny and Patricia Edwards. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
