He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mitchell Francis Thiry and Ada Fern Goodwill; his wife Ruth Thiry; his children, Carol Uballe (Pete) of Riverbank and Mitchell Thiry (Ursula) of Piedmont; his brother LaVerne Thiry; his son Richard Kell; and his granddaughter Nicole Michelle Thiry. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
