She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Benson and Mary Alice Coats Benson; her daughter Kim Thompson; and her siblings, Paul Benson, Charles "Chuck" Benson, Ruth Ridings and Doris Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Coggins (Nickey) and Sharon "Sherry" Walker; her grandchildren, Chris Walker (Jenna), Mandy Moore (Ben), Jake Moore (Malorie), Ryan Moore (Tatum), Zack Coggins (Amy), Sarah Kay Davidson (James) and Nick Coggins; her son-in-law Gary Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Thompson and Debbie Benson. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
