It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Miller Jones of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Sanders and Nathaniel Miller; her stepmother Magnolia Miller; her son Kerry Jones; her grandson Jivani Agnew; and her husband Robert Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Miller of Tupelo, Teresa Heard (Jerome) of Tupelo, Mike Jones of Tupelo and Ricky Jones of Tupelo; and her siblings, Deloise Crump, Nathaniel Miller, Jr., Birdie Kirk, Dianne Thornton of Pontotoc, MS, John Miller of Los Angeles, CA, Susan Pierce (Lee) of Nettleton, MS, Vivian Freeman (Jeffrey), Andre Sanders (Angela), Robert Miller (Shelia) of Verona, MS, Jessie Dean Miller of Memphis, TN and Bobby Miller (Cathy) of Okolona, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Temple of Compassion and Deliverance (1148 N Madison St, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
