With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Patton (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Davis Christian and Thesle Lowery Christian; her husband Dorn Olon Patton; and her sister Willa Dale Steadman. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Blackley of Tupelo and Pam Pitts (Dennis) of Olive Branch, MS; her grandchildren, Barry Welford (Nancy) of Los Angeles, CA, Jenna Scruggs (Dustin) of Hernando and Patton Gunter (Melissa) of Fort Deposit, AL; her great grandchildren, Taylor Chandler, Little Barry, Kaytlen, Nancy Welford, Shelby and Raegan Scruggs; and her siblings, Bobby Christian and Judy Rowland (Jerry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
