He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Morris Shumpert and John Leather Shumpert. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anthony Shumpert; his children, Cedrick Shumpert (Treca) of Plantersville, Damon Williams (Shameka) of Alabama, Elaynia Dilworth (Donald) of Wren, Angela Williams (Benjamin) of Louisiana, Melissa Shumpert (Derek) of Tupelo, LaShonda Harley (Freddie) of Tupelo, LeeAnn Cummings of Tupelo and Jennifer Lewis of Georgia; and his sisters, Louise Shumpert of Plantersville, Willene Denman of Illinois and Teresa Hayes of Plantersville. He is also survived by 18 Grand Children; 16 Great Grand Children.
