Jean Stephens Obituary
We bid farewell to Jean Stephens of Tupelo, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Ellis and Dora Ellis; her husband Johnny Stephens; and her siblings, Jimmy Ellis, Judy Shurden, Cecil Ellis and Nancy Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Capps (Lee), Diane Curtiss, Mark Stephens (Tina) and David Stephens (Lynn); her grandchildren, Amanda Robinson (Adrian), Kimberly Jean Scales (Johnathon), Savanna Armstrong, Stephen Curtiss (Malaysia), Caleb Stephens (Kayle) and Collin Stephens (Callie Kendrick); her great grandchildren, Eli Robinson, Cali Armstrong and John Lawson Stephens; and her siblings, Carolyn Tucker, Linda Otts (Lamar), Jerry Ellis (Patricia) and Billie Silver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home (5257 Raymond Ave, Tupelo, MS 38879). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
