He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Eugene, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ann Wooten Shanks of Columbus; his children, Cheyenne Shanks of Japan and Corey Shanks of Tupelo; his siblings, Gloria Berry (Ray) of Columbus, Windy Miller (Chris) of Columbus and Adam Cross of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Peyton Shanks, Brianna Shanks and Levy Shanks.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home (5257 Raymond Ave, Tupelo, MS 38879). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
