He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elbert Watson Sr. and Mildred Fuller Watson; and his sisters, Nanette Watson Baker and Betty Watson Gann. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Watson of Tunica; his sister Jeslyn Sue Sneed (Froyd) of Bald Knob, AR; his children, Leigh Watson of Oxford, Bert Watson (Molly) of Tunica and Chris Watson (Gina) of Oxford; his stepchildren, April Wallace (Greg) of Leland, MS, Polly Davis of Brandon, MS and Stephen Davis (Kimberly) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Will Watson, Christopher Watson, Leah Veasey (Joseph), Patrick Hawkins, Caitlin Thweatt, Tyler Thweatt, Laney Wallace, Lindsey Wallace, Dillon Davis, Lauren Hamilton and Gage Henderson.
