She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Leonids Burchfield; her parents, Elijah Byrd and Ella Rammage Mixon; and her son Freddie Burchfield. She is survived by: her daughters, Eloise Carson (John) of Tunica, MS and Brenda Veazey (Richard) of Tunica, MS; and her brother Clinton Mixon of Greenville, MS. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
