She was predeceased by: her husband James Arthur Butler, Jr.; her children, Melvin Ray Butler and Barbara Butler Bailey; her parents, Ben Bridgman and Mary Alice Bridgman; and her siblings, Robbie Bridgman of Verlie Bridgman, J. T, Alver Bridgman, Elvin Bridgman and Eunice Bridgman Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Butler (Joyce), Michael Butler (Dorothy), Terry Butler (Glenda) and Linda Butler Gavrock (Dan); and her sisters, Eloise Smoak of Houston, MS, Pauline Rowe and Lula Mae Freeman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
