He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Barnette and Jettie Mae Barnette; and his siblings, Charlie Barnette, Bud Barnette, Billy Barnette, Martha Ann Horton and Bea O'Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Jacque Barnette (Fulton); his daughters, Wendy Barnette and Stacey Cain; his sister Eva Simmons; and his sister-in-law Gail Fulton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
