She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Bailey Ray and Berry Whayne Ray of Phillip Ms; her children, David Melton (Sherry) of Dundee, MS, Ben Melton (Missy) of Dundee, MS and Lesley Melton Ruth (John) of Dundee, MS; her grandchildren, Kassey Ayles Scott (Cameron), Maddox Allen, Trent Melton, Bailey Melton, John Taylor Melton, Adam Baird (Sami Jo), Samantha Floyd Betsy Melton (Kenny), John Parker Ruth and Jenkins Ruth; her great grandchildren, Sutton Jo Baird, Sawyer Baird, Charles Parker Scott, Lucy Floyd and Avery Floyd; her siblings, Berry Ann Allison (late Tony Allison) of Tippo, MS and Billy Ray (Robbie) of Hernando; her husband Charles G. Melton; and her brothers, John David Ray (Nancy) of Charleston and Mike Ray (Eleanor) of Charleston.
