He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garrett and Mattie Skinner Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Emma Garrett of Tremont; his daughter Annette Brown of Tremont; his grandchildren, William Mattingly of Clover, SC, Elbert Robinson and Frances Woltz of Tremont; and his siblings, Delida Simms of Red Bay, AL and Harold Garrett of Tremont. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
