He was predeceased by: his father Reuben Posey; and his sisters, Cindy Brantly and Shelia Yates. He is survived by: his wife Julia Lynn Posey; his mother Nina Mae Posey; and his brothers, David Posey (Linda), Ricky Posey (Rhonda) and Delmer Posey (Leslie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
