He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Ross; his parents, David Ross and Cola Ross; and his brothers, D. W. Ross (Earline) and Bobby Ross.
He is survived by: his sons, Rex Ross (Amanda) and Marshall Ross; his grandsons, Derick Ross and Matt Ross; his nephew David Ross; and his sister-in-law Dorris Ross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
