He was predeceased by: his wife Pearlie Mae Smith; and his parents, Hessie Smith and Cullen Smith. He is survived by: his son Mike Smith; his siblings, Bobby Smith and Mary Ann Davis; his grandchildren, Jessie Smith (Allison), Lindsey Smith, Lesha Thompson (Michael) and Casey Holman; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Smith, James Holman, Liam Thompson, Titus Thompson and Isaac Smith. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in Jimmy's honor to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital or LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
