She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Strickland and Beunah Strickland; her siblings, John B. Strickland, Jewel Thorne and Ruth Dickinson; her nephew Bobby Wayne Thorne; and her nieces, Opaline Crouse and Shirley Ann Thorne.
She is survived by: her nephew Larry Strickland (Johnnie); her great-niece Katie Bohannon (John); her great-nephew Chad Strickland; and her nephews, Klara-Kate, Hadley, Reagan, Emmy Bohannon, Kirstyn Grady and Breelyn Strickland. She is also survived by other cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made in Eva Mae's honor to Boggs Chapel Cemetery.
